“Big Boat – Big Fish – Big Trip”

Come aboard this bucket list fishing trip, fishing remote locations west of Dirk Hartog Island and the Zuytdorp Cliffs in the fish abundant waters of the Indian Ocean, anchoring each night in the protected waters of Turtle Bay, Cape Inscription or Shelter Bay and Steep Point.

With 25 years experience fishing Shark Bay, only Apache has the capability and knowledge to get you to the remote fishing spots in the Dirk Hartog waters where very few fisherman can go! Because the fishing industry in which we operate is highly regulated by Fisheries and is sustainable we are still able to offer our fishing clients up to 20kg of demersal fish on our live aboard extended fishing tours in the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.

  • The Lady Grace is available for boarding at 3pm at the Denham Jetty, Knight Terrace Denham. Once all guests are boarded and gear is loaded, the Lady Grace will cruise west for 3 hours from Denham to South Passage for a safe anchorage where the on-board chef will serve tonight’s dinner. Just anchoring in protected waters between Steep Point and Dirk Hartog Island gives the opportunity for an early start tomorrow for the best fishing grounds.

  • After a nice hot cooked breakfast, it’s time to pull up the anchor and depart nice and early for the best fishing grounds. Fishing from many remote locations this week, Steep Point, Dirk Hartog Island, Turtle Bay, Dampier Reef, West of False Entrance and Crayfish and Thunder bays. We head into remote waters where it’s unlikely you will see other boats. Anchorage each night is in protected waters of Turtle Bay or South Passage. While you are busy fishing, are crew are on standby to assist in any way they can, meanwhile the cook is busy cooking up a feast for when you get hungry. The drinks and are cold, the showers are hot, and you don’t have to worry about a thing, just fish, fish fish.

  • After a big, cooked breakfast, its straight into fishing, bottom bouncing for the massive Pink Snapper, Red Emporer, Coral Trout, Rankin Cod and heaps more species –– it’s easy to catch over 16 different species in one day in the waters of Shark Bay.

  • Breakfast, fishing, morning tea, fishing, lunch, fishing, beers, fishing, fishing, dinner, fishing, beers. Snappers, Red Emporer, Coral Trout, Rankin Cod, Coronation Cod, Spanish Mackerel, Chinamon Cod, Tomato Cod, Spangled Emporer, Sweetlips, Cobia, Tuna, The Fishing Today Is Epic.

  • Pretty much just like day one, day two and day three, it’s all about FISHING!

  • The last day it’s all about FISHING FISHING FISHING. Then it’s back to Denham in the late arvo. Head over to the pub for a few bevies. Dinner is not supplied on last night. Stay on the boat tonight then depart by 8am Saturday morning for your trip home.

  • Your fish have been packed into your esky, now its time for the short journey home. Disembarking is at 8am.

  • Just finished a 5 day tour with Apache off Shark Bay I caught a bucket load of fish including Red Emperor and Rankin Cod alongside a heap of Pinkies. The crew were great, first rate service and the food was great. Gary in particular provided expert advice and helped me greatly. Thank you for a fantastic time! Cheers Con

  • Did a Shark Bay Charter and enjoyed it thoroughly. Can't speak highly enough of Mat and the crew. Excellent food and heaps of fish! Been with quite a few other charter companies at Abrolhos and Monties, but Apache seem to tick all the boxes.

  • Great trip on the Lady Grace,Matt,Mitch,Luke & dan where the best skipper's who constantly put us on the fish & went above & beyond to find as many different species as they could, The last day catching baldies over 60 cm plus was amazing.the deckie Luke is never far away to help out & Cook dan made some great dishes & was just as good a deckie as his cooking,we had no problems getting our bag limit with a great variety of fish.

Why choose Apache Charters?

As the same owner/operator for 25 years, we are busy, very experienced and our vessel spends more time out fishing up North than it does in port (we leave Fremantle in March and don’t return till the end of November). What does this mean for you? With more spots and thousands of marks on the plotter which is also constantly being added to, you have more options and ultimately… more fish! Our boat, the Lady Grace is also a serious blue water fishing vessel, expertly set up to fish, and to fish hard but still fitted with plenty of comfort for when you’re not fishing.

  • Australian Tourism Accredited Business

  • Highly experienced and professional crew

  • You deal directly with the owners so you don’t pay agent fees

  • We respond efficiently & effectively making the booking process quick, simple and easy

  • We operate all year, we are a full time charter company with full time staff
